It’s a globally-known fact that a brilliant light guided three
wise men, Balthasar, Caspar and Melchior, to Bethlehem to
worship the newly-born Jesus. However, the world is in the
dark about the existence of a fourth wise man, Alan.

The wise men bestowed gifts upon Jesus.
Melchior brought gold, Caspar brought Frankincense,
and Balthasar brought Myrrh. And Alan?
He brought ‘good vibes’.

“This,” explained Alan, excitedly, “is a karaoke machine!”

“What’s a karaoke machine?”
asked Melchior.

“Is it precious?”

“It’s wicked!” replied Alan. “It plays the backing tracks
to songs, then you sing over them.”

“Nope, didn’t understand any of that” said Caspar.

“If it is wicked, then it must be banished from this sacred
place immediately!” said Balthasar.

“Karaoke is just what this place needs,” replied Alan.
“I mean, hashtag ‘boring’…”

“WHAT’S A HASHTAG??!!” asked an increasingly angry Caspar.

“Let’s all calm down,” said Melchior.

“Alan, I think you should leave. Why don’t you come back in 2,000 years when karaoke is a ‘thing’ and bring your good vibes to the Wise Men office party.”

“And bring snacks,” said Balthasar.

“I’m none the wiser,” said Caspar.
